Sadly we are faced with tough times in our schools and communities. Anxiety, depression and suicide rates are on the rise with our teens and we as parents and educators need to find solutions. You may already be aware that yoga and mindfulness practices can help. 


Mindfulness is the missing link in current SEL programming. Mindfulness-based practices, supports social-emotional goals by teaching self-regulation skills. Mindfulness practices also improve self-awareness, relationship skills, decision making skills, and social awareness skills.


Many schools across the country are implementing mindfulness & yoga programs into their curriculum and reaping the rewards with improved test scores and overall healthier school environments.

Locally, we are in schools teaching mindfulness and yoga to both students and staff with positive results. Students learn healthy ways to relieve stress, reduce test anxiety, increase self-awareness, and self-regulation skills.
